Hello Denise... Nice Post.... Thank You... Remember Ben Franklin's Adage, 'We Have A Republic If We Can Keep It...'....

Hello, Apache. I think we're going to be extremely lucky if we can keep it. And if we'd fail, there would be millions of Americans who wouldn't know what the hell happened.

Hello Denise.... Would they know, and would they care?....

They'd care only if they couldn't watch sports and drink beer.

Good idea about the letters!

Yes, planning for the worst is exactly my point, but it seems some people don't want to go there.

I personally do wonder what ‘fixing’ could take place and looks like there should be a lot of vigilance about the upcoming elections. Text book dictatorship style elections. You raise some very important questions re the future of American democracy. Certainly here in the UK the Epstein files have uncovered some very powerful attempts to thwart us having a more socialist labour government.

The list of ways to skew elections goes beyond the practices I've described. The SAVE Act that just passed the House is only one example. It would impose crippling voting ID requirements on a large swath of the population.

The difference with the Epstein files in the UK is that the people and especially the government appear to believe that sex trafficking and pedophilia are bad things, deserving rooting out and punishing. Not so much here, sadly.

I hope there will be some significant changes but so many seem to be easily misled. Corrupting the voting process is so frightening. Here Reform flood money into campaigns and at present am involved in an upcoming big by election. Coming down to Green vs Reform.

The U.S. public overall doesn't pay much attention until they're directly affected. Most are politically illiterate. But many are also working two or more jobs to pay the rent.

Go Green, all the way!
